What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
General Pest Control includes only the inspection, treatment, and prevention work described in your estimate or service agreement. Depending on the agreed plan, this may address common household pests and the accessible areas identified by the technician.
The agreement should identify the target pest, treatment locations, and any preparation or follow-up steps. Work outside that written scope requires a separate agreement and may cost extra.
Examples include termite work, wildlife removal, extensive exclusion or repairs, and treatment of pests not listed in the plan.
Montana Pest Solutions follows applicable pesticide requirements, including Montana Code Annotated Title 80, Chapter 8, MCA 80-8-201, and Montana Administrative Rules 4.10. Pesticides are used according to their registered labels under FIFRA.
Applicable worker-safety, hazard communication, and waste rules including 40 CFR Part 170, OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.1200, and relevant RCRA requirements also apply. The Montana Department of Agriculture, EPA, and other agencies may oversee requirements within their authority.
Setting, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged with you by phone, email, or another agreed method. We will confirm the service window and any access or preparation instructions we know are needed.
Please provide accurate contact details, ensure an adult can provide access where required, and tell us about pets, occupants, or conditions that could affect treatment. If you need to cancel or change a visit, contact us as soon as possible; any applicable notice period or cancellation charge will be stated in your service agreement or estimate, not assumed here.
Weather, safety concerns, access problems, or operational needs may require rescheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange another time.
If inspection shows that the requested work differs from the agreed scope, we will explain the change and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work. A changed appointment is not approval for expanded treatment. Please follow any written preparation and re-entry directions supplied for the specific service.
Written Estimates and Payment Terms
An estimate describes the work and price proposed based on the information available at the time. It is not a promise to treat pests or areas that are not included in the estimate.
If an inspection reveals conditions that change the proposed work, Montana Pest Solutions will explain the revised scope and any price change and seek your approval before doing additional work. You may ask questions about what is included before accepting.
Payment timing and accepted payment methods will be stated in the estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, do not assume that payment is deferred or that a particular payment plan is available.
Please pay the amount due by the stated date and raise billing questions promptly so they can be reviewed. Any charges, deposits, or cancellation fees must be disclosed in the applicable written agreement.
No specific price is established by these general terms; the amount for your service depends on the approved work and its written estimate.
What Service Guarantees Apply
These general terms do not create a warranty or guarantee of pest elimination, a particular result, or a fixed coverage period. Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service assurance applies only if it is stated in writing in your estimate or service agreement. That document should explain what pests and locations are covered, how long the commitment lasts, and how to request follow-up service.
Results can depend on conditions outside the treatment itself, including sanitation, building gaps, moisture, neighboring properties, and pest activity. Coverage may not apply where the written terms exclude a condition or where required preparation, access, or follow-up steps are not completed.
We will explain relevant directions for the agreed service. Contact Montana Pest Solutions if activity continues or returns, and refer to your written agreement before assuming additional visits are included. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Service and Property Risks
To the extent permitted by law, Montana Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or conditions beyond our reasonable control. Please report concerns promptly and provide a reasonable opportunity to review them.
Pesticide work is performed subject to applicable requirements, including Montana Code Annotated Title 80, Chapter 8, MCA 80-8-201, Montana Administrative Rules 4.10, and FIFRA label directions. Applicable worker protection and hazard communication rules, including 40 CFR Part 170 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200, remain in force.
This contract language does not replace those duties or agency requirements. Waste handling must follow applicable law, including relevant RCRA requirements. These terms do not waive any rights or remedies that cannot be waived under Montana law.
Questions About These Terms
For questions about these terms or an agreed service, contact Montana Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@montanapestsolutions.top. Mail may be sent to First Interstate Center, 401 N 31st St, Billings, MT.
Include your name, service address, and appointment or invoice details so we can direct your question appropriately. Do not include sensitive payment information in ordinary email.
We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted where customers can review them, with an updated date or other notice when appropriate.
If a change affects scheduled or ongoing work, we will communicate the relevant terms through a reasonable method, such as email or written notice. The version applicable to a service will be identified in the accepted estimate or agreement, subject to applicable law.
If any part conflicts with a signed service agreement or mandatory legal requirement, the controlling agreement or law applies to that conflict.
Evan Miller
Service Expert at Montana Pest Solutions
I started in pest control in Billings, where I learned how Montana’s sharp seasonal shifts bring ants and yellowjackets out in warm weather and drive rodents indoors as temperatures drop. I built my trade around careful inspections and treatments suited to the homes, businesses, and long driving routes found across the state.
